Brainstorming

My group have brainstormed a couple ideas for opening  At the moment me and my group are considering an antagonist who stalks people and then kills them. This will help the audience get an idea of who and what the antagonists characteristics are like, but not a full image just a taster.

We are currently thinking of making him a tall lean, faceless character.A innocent victim wandering the forest at night terrified,
Learning about this monster in the forest through images and other items scattered items around the forest. Our antagonist will stalk the victim. He will appear quickly frequently to the victim and disappear just as soon, eventually catching up and 'striking' the victim.
This will create a image of mystery around the antagonist as you never know when he will appear.

Camera shots:

  • Mid shot
  • Close Up
  • Long Shot
  • Establishing Shot
  • First Person View
  • Tracking shot
  • Crane Shot
I think we may have problems exactly executing these angles because of our limited resources and time.we also are planning to have faint music in the back and it to build up when the antagonist strikes the music raises and this creates surprise.  We want our footage to look like it is towards the night but there are a few problems about the editing so we are thinking of actually recording at night.
